I realized that kids, who don’t drive, don’t really know how any of the streets connect the locations they get driven to. All those places are kind of magically separate in their minds.
I’m always amazed at how much improved a sketch is versus a basic cell phone picture. Even if (probably because?) it’s not 100% accurate, it is just so much more evocative of the time and place and how it feels to be there
