The Butler

A new gag cartoon series idea...

After creating the above gag cartoon about a butler dealing with an eccentric wealthy family, I couldn’t resist making more.

Working with children for many years as a teacher has given me extensive experience to draw on.

I started getting The Addams Family vibes, then made two more in which our service hero, The Butler, tries to keep it together while serving the family’s every whim.

I submitted them all to The New Yorker magazine and received the standard rejection, which doesn’t mean it’s a bad idea, but not for them.

So, you get to read them and give me your reviews.
